Editorial Policy
How the medical content on this site is written, sourced and reviewed, and what it deliberately does not claim.
Who the content is for
These pages are written for patients deciding whether to seek an opinion, and for patients preparing for a procedure. The aim is to explain what something is, who it suits, and what recovery involves, in plain language.
How claims are handled
Statements about procedures, recovery and outcomes are checked against reputable clinical sources, principally NHS guidance on the relevant condition. Where a source is used for a specific claim, it is listed on that page.
Recovery timelines are described as ranges and are stated to vary, because they do. Where no reliable timeline exists for a procedure, the page describes the care pathway instead of inventing week counts.
What this site does not claim
No success rates, patient numbers or years of experience are published unless they can be evidenced.
No superlatives such as "best" or "leading" are used, and no guarantees of outcome are made.
No patient testimonials, reviews or before-and-after images are published on this site.
Qualifications listed are limited to those that can be verified. Nothing is added for effect.
Review
Content is reviewed by Dr. Muhibullah Dawar, FCPS in General Surgery. The date each page was last updated is shown on the page.
Corrections
If any statement here is inaccurate or out of date, it will be corrected rather than quietly removed, and the update date will change. Please report anything that looks wrong by messaging the clinic on WhatsApp.
